Hey ThoughtScape folks!
First up, I’ll be joining Will Allred as the special guest host on this week’s EXPLAIN YOURSELF show LIVE this Friday night at 11 Eastern/8 Pacific to interview some great comic creators currently crowdfunding comics. You can click here or on the YouTube-y deal below to go subscribe to the show or set a reminder.
Second, we’ve hit a bit of a slowdown on adding followers for the upcoming Kickstarter campaign, so…
If you haven’t yet headed over and hit the NOTIFY button, there’s no time like the present. Help us hit 150 followers this month!
Third, and to inspire you to go hit that NOTIFY button if you haven’t yet, I wanted to start profiling some of the great Add-On Rewards I’ve got lined up for the campaign. First up, a reward from TSC advisor + associate Matt Blairstone that I couldn’t be more excited about: THE WEIRD HORROR BUNDLE FROM TENEBROUS PRESS! You’ll be able to add this badass bundle on to your ThoughtScape Comics pledge and nab yourself some killer horror tales along with your killer sci-fi!
Fourth, a peek at some brand new pages from TSC #3! Fresh from the ink-soaked desk of one Karl Slominski: a look at Ex Post Facto Part Three, the story of a boy and his robot!
Holy hell. Is Karl incredible or what?
Finally and fifthly! A POLL! I’m trying to figure out if I should invest time and effort in prepping any of the following add-on rewards. If you imagine yourself backing the next ThoughtScape Comics Kickstarter, I’d love to see what you think!
Wait, sorry, a couple more things (apologies… if you’ve been following along for a while you probably have figured out that I have issues with closure).
PLEASE consider backing Jamie Jones’ The Baboon: The Temple of Eternal Life on Crowdfundr, a new-ish, very easy to plug your info into site. Jaime’s art is amazing and I want this book! If you do back (or even if you don’t), consider helping spread the word.
There’s a new Archers of Loaf record! And it’s fantastic. I somehow didn’t even know it was a thing ‘til last week and in case there are any fellow indie rock old heads here I felt like I needed to shout about it.
Alright, now I’m done.
I promise.
Matt
