ThoughtScape Gang!
We are in the clutches of The End:
Just six days remain in the ThoughtScape Comics campaign on Zoop! Back it!
While I love drama on the beautifully printed, uncoated paper stock pages of ThoughtScape Comics, I am not a huge fan of it in real life, especially in comics, which is supposed to be fun, so I will try and keep it real but also in-perspective here:
We need a HUGE, EPIC PUSH IF WE’RE GOING TO HIT OUR GOAL.
We’re JUST SHY of the halfway point now, and while it is feasible we might make it over that hurdle and then pull in another $3k, it would require a crush of support that we just haven’t seen since Day One of the campaign. That said, I have a few ideas for how we can make it happen. Read on if you might want to join the final push effort, or jump to the end for some killer Dave Law sketches and some reading/viewing recommendations.
Alright, if you’re still here, you’ve enlisted in the TSC Corps willingly. In my head I’m imagining a ragtag group of comic book-loving warriors plunging headlong into an unknown darkness, where either success or noble failure awaits them, and this quote that has stuck with me since I was 12 comes immediately to mind…
Wait, didn’t I say I didn’t like real-life drama? Whoops..
Anyway, here’s the plan:
Not yet a backer? Get over to Zoop and support ThoughtScape Comics at whatever level you can afford: https://bit.ly/TSC2Zoop. Please note that we have lowered the price on two rewards that will REALLY help us out, and are SUPER cool: The Cameo and Starring Role rewards will put YOU in the pages of ThoughtScape Comics, drawn by the amazing Dave Law. Make a Cameo appearance for $100! Appear in a Starring Role for $350! Head to Zoop for more details.
Already a backer? Consider adding additional rewards, including those Cameo and Starring Role rewards I just mentioned, or the Lifeformed Graphic Novel two-pack (nearly 400 pages of critically acclaimed, all-ages sci-fi, and when I say all ages I mean adults and kids alike will enjoy it). Maybe you have a sci-fi loving friend you’d like to order a copy for. Maybe you have FIVE sci-fi loving friends… you get the idea. Click here to head over and add rewards.
Share like MAD. Help spread the word any way you can. Tag me into any posts and I will retweet. Have any high-follower-count pals you can tag in/recommend the project to? Go for it. And if you want to just RT existing tweets for sake of ease, here are a couple to boost:
That’s it! Simple, but potentially effective. I am excited to see what we can do as the clock ticks down. Whatever the outcome, your incredible support (and just sticking around here on the newsletter for all this promotional business) is appreciated beyond words.
Okay, on to less promotional concerns… beautiful Dave Law art! Dave has been dropping some killer pieces on his IG, which you should go follow. A few for your enjoyment…

Dave flips the script and draws Dash Varrick (originally brought to life by Karl Slominski, of course)!!!
Such gorgeous work! Did I mention YOU could be drawn by Dave and appear in the pages of ThoughtScape Comics #2? Bwahahahaahahaha!

The Tragedy of Macbeth: No, YOU cried inexplicably when Denzel descended the stairs in full swagger slinging Shakespeare… Anyway, I really dug this. This movie makes CHOICES. This movie looks beautiful. This movie has shots that will take your breath away.
I am plowing through Blood’s a Rover. Dig it. My brain is pure staccato patter. I’m in Ellroy’s thrall. Grok it - this book is NOT for the faint of ANYTHING.
Have a great rest of the week!
