Less than three days left for ThoughtScape Comics on Kickstarter!
Help us reach 100 backers before it's over!
Hi ThoughtScape fans!
I wanted to let you know that there are LESS THAN THREE DAYS LEFT in the ThoughtScape #1-4 Digital campaign. If you are thinking of backing this latest campaign, now is the time!
We hit our initial goal of $1000 on day two, and are now closing in on $1500! The more we can earn over our goal amount in these next few days the better, in order to pack this new issue with as much greatness as possible and also to cover any dropped or unprocessed pledges when the campaign ends.
So, at this point, every backer and dollar counts, and if you're able, even a $1 and $2 pledge makes a huge difference. That said, it's only $5 to grab a PDF of our latest issue, ThoughtScape Comics #4, and it will be a 60-page giant stuffed with stories that you won't want to miss, OR if you’ve never read TSC, it’s also just $5 to give the first issue a shot! In case you fall in the “have never read an issue of TSC” camp, here’s a peek at some of the lovely art in TSC #1-#4!
That all looks pretty fantastic, right? I am beyond lucky to work with so many incredible artists. Back the new issue now and I'll be able to pull at least one more incredible creator into this issue!

About Lifeformed: Orphaned in the wake of an alien invasion, 11-year-old Cleo must leave behind the life she knew to fight for her own survival and the Earth’s future. With the help of a rebel alien posing as her dad, Cleo learns how to survive and strike back against the invaders. Battling their way through the wreckage of the apocalypse, these two unlikely companions bond, ponder what it means to be human, and search for reasons to carry on.
Praise for Lifeformed
"I was immediately taken with the emotional weight of this story, and the deft way Lowery's script lays it all out. Combine that with Anderson's expressive, warm art that manages to convey both human faces and spaceships with equal vibrance, and this becomes an immediately endearing new sci-fi adventure that I can't wait to revisit."
-SyFy Wire
"A page-turning young adult action thriller..." -Slings and Arrows
"A profoundly poignant, funny and deeply personal take on the world-ending nightmare of an alien invasion..." -sparklyprettybriiiight.com
"Very highly recommended." -Starburst Magazine
Other stuff...
As I've mentioned in previous posts, I've been working on an X-Men fan comic with Jeremy Brooks on pencils + inks and Marcus Cripps on colors (the same team that produced the story Corpus Delicti in TSC #3). Yesterday, we dropped a peek at the cover image, featuring Dazzler and Longshot (in a bit of a tribute to the poster from the Nic Cage movie Valley Girl).
As always, the Jeremy/Marcus team comes up with something singularly striking and unexpected.
Alright, thanks for reading and for helping us fund TSSC #4, and have a great weekend!
Matt
