Fear and Loathing: On the Crowdfunding Campaign Trail '22
We were somewhere around $2500 raised on the edge of halfway to funded when the ThoughtScape began to take hold...
ThoughtScape Comics #2 is now LIVE on Zoop! CLICK HERE TO HEAD TO ZOOP AND BACK IT.
Hello ThoughtScape Comics backers!
The ThoughtScape Comics Zoop campaign continues! Nearly half-funded, and as of this moment, 112 backers! You all are great. If you haven’t backed yet, we could definitely use your support. The fact of the matter - and the math - is that we will need either A LOT more backers or a solid crew of backers at higher reward levels in order to print and ship issue #2 in 2022.
Not yet a backer, or interested in adding additional rewards to your support? Head over now and take a look at the great rewards, including the Cameo and Starring Role rewards, where you get to appear in the pages of ThoughtScape Comics drawn by the incredible Dave Law. We will have a ton of fun with these rewards if anyone takes the plunge. AND there are still plenty of copies of the Lifeformed Graphic Novel 2-Pack, 400 pages of critically-acclaimed, dark but fun all ages sci-fi adventure!
BACK THOUGHTSCAPE ON ZOOP: LESS THAN 2 WEEKS LEFT!
In other news, I’ve been making the rounds to promote the book and talk comics with some great folks:
1. Wayne’s Comics Podcast #521 (from Major Spoliers):
2. Dropping this weekend, a nice long chat with Blake’s Buzz! Go Follow Blake so you can catch this when it hits the feed!
3. Tomorrow night I’ll be LIVE on Explain Yourself…
a crowdfunding comic creator roundtable. This should be a blast. Drop by and throw some questions our way. 11PM Eastern / 8 PM Pacific. On YouTube here!
As you can see, it’s been busy! I have managed to write most mornings this week, which always helps keep me sane, and this week I wrote some Dash Varrick pages for Karl Slominski that I am beyond excited to see Karl create. If you thought you didn’t know what was happening in this story in issue one, well, just you wait. It’s going to be a strange, gorgeous journey.
I leave you with a look at all the incredible projects now active or coming soon to Zoop. If you want to support indie comics and creators on a platform solely dedicated to comics, this is the place to be! Go back the active projects and sign up for notifications for those that are coming soon. There’s some incredible stuff!
Have a great weekend!
Matt
